It's great fun growing up, and let's face it there's nothing you can do to stop it.  But why should we!!

 

Bills to pay, exams to pass, ladders to climb, backs to scratch, meetings to attend, reports to write, places to be the list goes on.  But you must remember what it feels like jumping in puddles, running fast (because you can!), building a den, just playing out all summer and best of all popping into the corner shop with your 'spends' for a quarter of your favourites.

 

At Happy Sweetshop we do!  As a recent 30-something I know I do.  Which is why we've done something we've all dreamt of for many years.  Based in Lancashire, amongst some of the best classic sweet makers like Uncle Joes and Stockleys, Happy Sweetshop is committed to bringing you the best of the old days.  We always try and source the quality products from traditional manufacturers (rather than cheap imports), and much of our range is still made by local suppliers in traditional copper pots!!

 

Remember heading into the local corner shop, with the sweets all laid out in trays and carefully working out just what you could get for 10p...a few 1/2 penny chews, some sherberts and a few marshmallows - brilliant!!  Then it's all topped off by an hour in front of some of the best cartoons EVER!!!!!!!

 

So by the power of Greyskull, and by drinking our milk...fool, we've realised our dream of creating a room full of nostalgia at Happy Sweetshop because there's no school like the old school.

 

We're off for a quick lap around the block in our dads slippers.
